I park as far away from the other car in the garage as possible. I am not really concerned as I have a company that can tap out door dings without having to paint the door - they do a really good job and it costs about $75 per dent.

But if you are talking about protecting the car while in your garage, why don't you purchase a 4X8 sheet of foam board from Lowes and make a stand for it to stand between the cars. May not be the prettiest thing to look at, but should work.

I use the "Zip-A-Pole" garage pole cover - I can not remember where i bought them on-line but they have a nice clean look. They are made of black neoprene and have a zipper to close it around the pole.

Our own Hank Sound developed the Garage Bodyguard. I use a few in my 3 car garage:

Hank's Garage Bodyguard on my Jag. My Wife parks her car next to it in the garage and our stress level over homegrown door dings is down significantly.

Better yet, I put two grommets in top ends of the 4X8 foam board and suspended it from the rafters with string. This way it just hangs and is easily moved by pushing it aside and it always returns to its protective location between cars.
