    Hi everybody!!!!

I'm new on this forum and i'm very happy to find a loto of people which loves the Mondial.
I think that is a very beautiful car, something new for the '80 years... Today the FF confirm that Mondial is an advanced Idea (together with the Porsche Panamera) a sports car with four seats... something new, something strange... (obviously the Idea born in '70 years with the Dino 208 GT4...)

I love the Mondial exactly like the 308, 208, 288, F40, F50, 355 and 360... and... stop... (except obviously for the "real old Ferrari" that are really "art"... )

I'll post some picture of my car... from the moment of the "first view" to the actual conditions...

I'll hope you'll like this... if you don't... don't worry! I love it also for you!!!!!

    Luigi,
I will follow your thread closely...as I'm restoring mine as well, see my Tumblr in my signature.
I see you are from Florence, we'll be visiting the Garda area in september with 7 Mondials.
If you need something, Stefan (Stekkefun4) is a great source for all you need as he's breaking several Mondials.

ok... me and my father bought the car... it doesn't seem bad... the engine was nice, the brake system ok the friction good...

some dubs about the body, suspension, electrical system and obviously the interior...

after the "bath" we found all the body scratched, micro swirl like "there is no tomorrow"... aluminum oxide in many points of the body... the car was repainted (very badly) by the previous owners (has 4 previous owner) with a "strange" red...

also the rims are very very sad to view...

the smell.... I remember well :) . Just finished cleaning the roofliner. You can't believe what filth and odour was in there....Now after a well deserved bath, it makes a world of difference.

Thanks. Most of it wouldn't be possible without the help and support here. And I must say that lately more and more Mondials are getting the royal treatment after years of neglect.

We'll be travelling from Belgium, France, Switserland towards the Garda area which will be our basecamp for 5 days. From there a number off trips (factory, museum etc) are planned.

    Hey Luigi,

Welcome to the Mondial community and have a nice time restoring your Mondial 8! I'm currently in the process of restoring a Mondial QV in Oro Chiaro too, eats up a lot of time, but it's great fun to do :)
