Yes, an Oldsmobile 442 (a '67 to be exact). The 442 was Oldsmobile's intermediate muscle. Though it changed throughout the years, the nomenclature stood for 4-barrel carburetor, 4-speed transmission, and 2- (dual) exhaust. For the 1967 model year, the 442 came with a 400 c.i.d. engine, 4-barrel carburetor (442s with the W-30 option came with 3 2-barrel carburetors), either a 4-speed manual or a 3-speed automatic transmission, dual exhaust, front and rear anti-sway bars, heavy duty springs, bucket seats with a console, and a few other "performance" accessories.
Here is a car I built and sold a year ago. It is a clone Z28 with a 468ci Big Block, new Muncie 4-speed, 12 bolt rear end with a 3:55 ratio. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Underside, note rack and pinion steering, and tubular control arms and coil over shocks. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was working on some new badges that would replace the Z28 and make it a Z468, which is the cubic once of the engine. I was doing this to be unique since the car was not a factory Z28 and the Z28's only came with one engine, a small block 302. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks like a 1970 Challenger White T/A or Trans Am with flat black hood I owned one in high school, same year the movie Vanishing Point. I cruised out of the drive in with a whole bunch of pride.
65 Barracuda that is staying with me until the owner sells it. I drove it for the first time this weekend to give it a little exercise and the skinny 14" tires plus the Commando V8 certainly provide for a entertaining drive! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Took my 69 Pontiac out of storage to use as part of my daughter's upcoming wedding this Friday. 47 years old and she still looks elegant. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've always been a muscle car guy and here in Oz there are a few U.S. cars around but you dont see them a lot so it's kinda unique but I'm being pulled to the 'Redside' and I like it. Love my Camaro! Want a Ferrari! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
355ci 010 high nickel content block, COLA crank, Diamond blower pistons, Manley H beam rods, Edelbrock victor jnr alloy heads, Cane blower cam and valvetrain with roller rockers, Wieand 6/71 blower with EFI hidden inside Enderle hat, etc, etc. Theres also a built turbo 350 and chevy LSD. With wrinkle wall tyres it'll hook up and lift a tyre but it's not good for it as it doesn't have subframe connectors. In one of these pics you can see the 4 x injectors in the manifold that lives inside the Bugcatcher. I purchased 4 x Injector Dynamics 2000cc injectors and when I finally got around to doing the EFI conversion (and it was not getting enough fuel) we found out the dip**** had sold me 340cc injectors by mistake. Long story, theres a new system with 8 x 500cc units there now which seems to work well. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
