    I pre-ordered the book "The McLaren P1: By Those Who Created It" by Andrew Frankel on Amazon, but apparently, not early enough as they've sent me notice of cancelation due to lack of availability.

    Not even a copy through Alibris I'm afraid. I'd register a search there, a copy may turn up - if you are willing to pay enough.

    The book is cancelled. I asked few month ago directly to Prestel Publishing and they confirm that to me.

    Well that is disappointing. Did they happen to mention that it is being released at a later date or just cancelled altogether?

    Totally cancelled. They didn't tell me the real reason unfortunately.
    Strange fact - same destiny happens to "918 Spyder - the Manufacture: About the Creation of a New Legend", cancelled without apparently no reason (but I personally know that Porsche itself asked for its cancellation).

    Well that is very disappointing. I was really hoping to add it to my, albeit tiny, collection next to Driving Ambition. Hopefully McLaren will release something along the same lines in the future then.
