    Not only is it the first production Lusso, but it has actual competition history, having been raced in-period by Leon Dernier of Belgium. Here it is at Spa in 1963:

    One of the pix shows the cover of the new photo book about the superb restoration of Jeff Lotman's gorgeous 275 GTB/6C chassis #08011, done by Canepa. The book contains hundreds of high quality detail photos and is highly recommended. Available at Canepa's parts dept for a kool US$ 95. English text, including build sheets, fully detailed history, etc. Highly recommended.

    Damn, I miss going to Monterey. One of my favorite memories is staying at the Embassy Suites in Seaside in 2004. As I was getting ready to drive to SFO, a SWB comes roaring up and parks at the front door. Minutes later, the guy jumps back in the car and roars off to the track. Funny, I don't remember seeing any license plates. :)
