    Saw this for the first time today winning one of the silverstone classics races and immediately fell in love with it. Perfect proportions and futuristic look make it look more modern than current racers. Comments?

    Late 60s prototype endurance race cars - P3/4, 908, 33, etc. Would've been awesome to see those race in-period.

    Honorable mentions: Mid 90s GT1 and LM race cars - 993GT1, CLK GTR, F1 GTR, etc. 458 GT2

    The Lola more than a little resembles the TWR Jaguar XJR-14 that Tom Walkinshaw campaigned
    in Group C with Silk Cut livery.

    But, if we're talking best looking cars, its hard to pass over the Group 44 Jaguars (XJR-5 and
    XJR-7) that Bob Tullius campaigned in IMSA GTP. Simple, understated green on white livery
    and that unbelievable shrill sound coming from the V12s.

    Another mention has to go to the Toyota GT Ones of the late 90s as raced at Le Mans.

    Yep - 512's in general are pretty bad ass... but the M is the one. I would say though ... a 917 is hard to beat as well. its the one car that makes me switch loyalty to Porsche... that is if you said I could have one!

    the gt40 is cool too... I really like the gulf mirage you have pictured there... and I would say that there is nothing else sexier than the Uneo clinic McLaren GTR from 95. unless it was in papaya orange!

    the McLaren F-1 is still the one car I have not yet rode in! have to fix that one day!

    Here are my top three:

    1) 1997 McLaren F1 GTR Longtail and imo the 24 Hours #42 Fina BMW Motorsport livery is the best.
    2) 2001 Bentley EXP Speed 8 24 Hours. The 2003 version looks more aggressive, but I like the sleeker looks of this one.
    3) 1999 Mercedes CLR, which unfortunately didn't see much track time due to multiple cars flipping at LeMans.

    My favorite Ferrari and also favorite race car that never raced: F50 GT. :)
