Totally different genre. Georgy Girl by The Seekers, who I didn't know were Australian until watching this clip of them on the Ed Sullivan show. Always loved Judith Durham's voice.

The last Tragically Hip concert live from Kingston Ontario on CBC....... Glad I did see them live several times, small clubs and even full out music festivals. One of the best bands live at any venue. Sad they are no longer!

You really do have to be Canadian to understand. The hip were and are the music of Canada. I'm glad they stayed true and didn't sell out.

(I've asked at least one musicologist to recommend a book on folk music. No answer.)
