Questions for anyone with the full system or just the remote. On the OEM exhaust I assume the valves open only when pushing into higher rpms. Watching videos with the remote system the car sounds very muffled with the valves closed by way of the remote. I am thinking you can only open or close the valves with the remote so if open all the time or closed all the time wouldnt that give some either really muffled sounds or really loud sounds?

Looking for any advice as we are not sure if we should just do the remote or do the full system including x pipe, remote, etc.

The remote gives you a few modes of operation.

Closed all the time from startup
Open all the time from startup
Auto as in normal ECU controlled operation

There are four buttons on the remote. If you hold 3 and 4 down simultaneously(I think), it changes what the car does on startup i.e if it opens the valves and keep them open or keep them closed. The other two toggles between open or closed and Auto. It's been a while since I had a remote, but that's the basics of it as far as I remember.

I have stock rear boxes, NR ECU Upgrade which by default keeps valves open at all times when in sport mode, if in comfort, we/ice etc etc it closes the valves and they open as per usua - @4,000RPM

i also have a Capristo x-pipe on it - it's a perfect setup for my daily driver

On the FF if you have the valves open all the time, it's not obnoxious and sounds the way it should whereas with cables shut , she sounds like she's being choked

if you do this you want be able to have bluetooth conversations - I use my phone all the time so in sport the valves are open all the time and in all other settings they are closed unless the throttle calls for them to open

Do you know what the difference/s between the Forza and Capristo remotes is/are?

I have the Capristo remote for the Capristo boxes on my F12 - and want to put a remote on my FF, don't know if I should try the Forza and can't decide until I have feedback from the likes of yourself.....

    Thank you in advance

I don't know the specifics but there threads I think the 430 forum that talk about it being higher quality/better made.

I have the Forza on my FF and it works great. No error codes etc. Unfortunately I don't know what the differences are.

Is it the same price or higher?

Sometimes the high price gets this imaginary rep, right?

I have the Capristo on my FF and it sounds great. Clearly louder when in Race mode for sure. Good luck with whichever you select!

The Forza controller has decidedly more robust construction and is less expensive than the Capristo (something like $400 vs $650 as an approximate example).

Last I checked, the Capristo does have one feature over the Forza: it has memory, so you can have the valve position (open or closed) be remembered across engine start and stop. Without this, if you want the valves to be, say open at engine start, you will explicitly have to press a button on the remote every time you start the engine.
