No need to apologies, Pedro; it is just to avoid discussing a thing thinking that we both knew what we are talking about, whereas we are speaking of different things...but the plot would have ended when we would have discussed the carb tool and the emergency window crank, I guess...your car is a "Euro" or "US" GTB? The subject of pouches have already been discussed many times, I will try to post a link. Rgds

I'm looking for the swivel Spark Plug socket for an '84 (euro...if that matters) QV. There's one on eBay @ $375 (it' been there a while), but that's a bit more than I can stomach at the moment. Anything reasonable available?
It doesn't matter if the car is "euro" or US, the tools were not specific to the market of destination (with the exception of the safety triangle that was not provided for the US cars, but should be in your jack bag) even if some brands might have been distributed more here, or there. But the spark plug tool is the same, both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Unfortunately, it is rare, whichever one you are looking for (the "small crown type" for the 3,2 engine [18mm inside for 12mm plugs] or "the larger crown type" for the 3 litre engine [21mm inside for 14mm plugs] AND whereever you are looking for: they do not come out very often in Europe either. You might get them here for, usually, let's say about 220/230 euros from time to time; but I guess that if you factor in the Package and Post (the thing is rather heavy) and maybe the import taxes, that would be about 300 dollars delivered (?). Of course, a stroke of luck is always possible, like the sale of an incomplete tool roll, a swap for something else, etc...but you have to be patient, and make it know that you are looking for one (which is what you did). Good luck with the search. Rgds
Always appreciate your insight! I missed one for $200(ish) a while back on eBay and have been kicking myself. There was someone else on FChat who had one, however, was undecided if he wanted to let it go. The search continues! For the QV, I obviously need "the larger crown type" for the 3 litre engine [21mm inside for 14mm plugs]. Anyone have one? Cheers!
Very...screwdrivers probably more correct for a carbed car, or a very early two-valve injected, but very valuable! What is the brand on the wrenches? Rgds
Actually I would say that this set is the same as my original set that came with my RHD 82 QV except that my kit was missing a couple of screwdrivers (V10.000 round end), a couple of wrenches and the pliers. The reason why I went on the tool kit research years ago was trying to gather the missing pieces. Except the big Philips head that is for sale on eBay by Tony for $1k, which is the V10.000 type, and another set with mixed handles having one of this type, I've never seen others not to mention a whole set of V10.000 screwdrivers. Lucky you Are your wrenches the thin type Polytools? The combination 14/14 is not CV Special, that belongs to the thin type. CV Special one is the thicker type.
Steven, Not sure if they are thin or thick, I have no reference but here is a pic, I hope it helps. And thanks for the replies Image Unavailable, Please Login
sold at 1500 euro just after some hours the ad has been displayed... It looked to be a mint and perfect one The seller is a trader and not a private seller. ciao
From the shape of those screwdrivers, these are also the V10.000 ones! Combined with Polytools wrenches and the carb tool, perfect for 79-82 carb or 2V cars.
It would be better if somebody with a small knowledge of these tool kits helped them to put the right tool where it belongs, notably the tool to unscrew the oïl filter in the case, where a special place is provided and empty, and not in the tool roll, where you should have a spark plug tool...but what do I know?
