    I agree with this.

Compared to subsequent Ferrari Supercars, the GTO has the best ground-clearance, is the smallest, and has the best all-round visibility, all of which make it easy to use.

I also find it has the easiest entry & egress, which again increases ease-of-use.

I assume this was a rhd for the sultan of Brunei. ?

Was this the only one or was it like the f50 and f40 were there was a few done for him.

I remember seeing a grey f40 a few years ago with red stripe instead of the black stripe around the centre of the car iirc. I assume this was done by request of the sultan of Brunei, but also was the 288gto offered in other colours as I have only ever seen red. ?

I was told there were 4 (Black, Red, Blue and Green) all RHD. Only the black ones was sold (with around 1000 mile on it - now was 1500)

    But someone may correct me

Another factor might also be that many of the F50s and ENZO were originally put into collections and there are many more low mileage cars around and owners are more precious about adding where as many GTOs are 20k miles+ and adding a few hundred a year is no big deal ? (at least I'd like to think so) - but this is anecdotal. Joe you have seen many more cars than me and might have a view on this?

Agreed, generally-speaking, most GTOs I know are used fairly often.

    No green one.
All four Brunei 288's were born red and LHD. Conversions to RHD done by Pininfarina, not factory.
Brunei was not the original owner of the cars, they were all bought on secondary market.

Very elegant color, although I do agree that red suits the GTO best.

Are they all dead now ?

The Sultan Of Brunei's Rotting Supercar Collection | Gizmodo Australia

Underneath this building in a windowless blacked-out theatre-type setting was a row of F40s with a trio of 288 GTOs and a smattering of other cars.

Joe - I noticed that you don't seem to celebrate the LaFerrari, or honor it as an appropriate heir to the Super Car lineage. Does the car not appeal to you in the same way the other four do?
