Can a put a set of 360 wheels on my 308? I do not like the 14inches original ones. if not Can I find the same wheel in 17 or 18? thanks
yes you can but the rears need to narrowed but other brand will fit without problems...go to 308/328/mondial aftermarket wheel thread you will see a 308 with 360 wheels but he narrowed them to 9" ,you will also see others with aftermarket brands
Hello Marcelo. I did this to my 1980 308 and I loved the way they handled. Much better than stock tires and wheels. You need a wheel kit with spacers and special lug nuts and 4 front 360 wheels. I have such a kit with new Hankook tires with only 1500 miles on them. I just cut the price in half for the whole set because I need to make room in my garage. Are you interested?
I put stock 360 wheels on this 77 without narrowing the rims. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Please elaborate "how" -- What wheel sizes? Did the '77 have stock shocks/springs? Any spacers? etc...
Personally, I like how the modern 360 wheels look on the 308. However, everybody should be more concerned with the functionality of the modification, not how they look. If is doesn't make the car handle better, then it is merely a cosmetic enhancement. I bought the Hills Engineering spacer kit and lug nuts and 4 front 360 wheels. No modifications of my suspension were required, period. The 1981 308 GTS stock suspension gave me absolutely no rubbing! Now for the important part...the car handled much better than the skinny 14" stock tires. It was probably the single best modification I did to my car and it was completely reversible when I sold the car.
usually I am all for this modification of modern wheels on an older car I have done it on every car except my 308s. In this case, Ferrari got it perfect and timeless.
