I'm selling my Rolex Daytona that I purchased new in Mid 90s.

Comes with original box and booklets.

This watch has the very desirable Zenith movement !

Just got back from a complete service done by my master watchmaker, he has been servicing all my watches for many many years.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

    Price is $18,500.

Jose Garrido he worked at Rolex for well over 20 years then went to work at the Louvre.

Then lucky for me he settled in Los Angeles !!!

He now is retired and only works for old customers like myself :)

Really nice watch Bill, I still have my 18k Day-Date President I bought new in 1976, hardly ever wear it though.

    GLWS, :)

Thank you Dave, That is the exact reason that i'm selling my beautiful Daytona, it has been living in a watch winder in the safe and for quite a few years...

So I decided to take it out send it to my watchmaker have him go through it and sell it.

I'd rather somebody enjoy it as I did for so many years.

I have also been told that all the Rolex Daytona's with the Zenith movement have become very very desirable... So I should just put it back in the safe for about 10 years :)

Unfortunately I'm a little too old for that !

    Cheers,

    Bill

That is one gorgeous Daytona. Are you seriously selling it for $18,500? I bought one nearly identical to this one 3 years ago and I paid $23,900! Wish I'd seen yours first :(

Wouldn't it be cool to restomod a Daytona with the Zenith movement from 28,800 back to the original Zenith 36,000 so the stopwatch segmented in 10ths instead of 8ths?

    Hi Jay,

If you're asking how many links there are on the bracelet... there are a total of 13 six on one side seven on the other.

The clasp Lines up perfectly in the middle of my wrist.

I bought the watch new so that should be the correct amount, I don't remember ever having any removed, if there should be more than that let me know and I'll look in my safe.

Please let me know if you have any other questions

    Bill

It was suggested to me to put this watch on eBay, which I really do not wish to do.

So I'm reducing the price to $16,750.

That is what I would net after eBay's commission.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.

    Thanks,

    Bill

At $16,750, it's probably the best priced 18 k gold Daytona on the Internet !!!
Then add the fact that it just got back from a complete service and I have not had it on since !! it's just waiting for its new owner 😎
It is amazing to me that it still around :)
Eventually it's going to make somebody very happy.

    Cheers

    Bill
