I believe I have responded to everyone with either a PM or email. Ultimately I need to be in email contact with you all so I can send updates and paypal requests. If we have not established email contact then please email me at <[email protected]> Including your FChat ID would be useful.
What do the ones on the side look like that go somewhere close to the pininfarina badge on the side panel? Part number? Couldn't find anything. Have the wide tricolor badge on the trunk lit on nero car and it's a subtle but awesome detail. Love it.
Awesome thank you for the photo! My rear badge is 8 inches wide. The Pininifarina badge is 5 inches so this must be a different size item then. This is already very helpful. Thanks
Anyone know the correct OEM spacing between the tricolor and the Ferrari lettering on the rear deck of a 458 coupe?
The first few shipped this week. Mostly to UK buyers who got in first with requests. Here is a first post from a contented buyer. Any interest in production of some tricolour badges - Page 3 Slightly frustrating that some who requested a badge now don't respond when asked to pay. I have reserve list that I am working down. I have now re-ordered a second batch which will satisfy all existing firm requests with a few left over. Delivery of new batch will now be end of the month. I have also ordered a very limited number (5 pairs) of the small tricolour badge for under the "Pininfarina" badge on the sides. This is the first one on my 458. Anyone newly interested please send a PM or email Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have a pair of small tricolour badges left if anyone is interested. These fit to the lower side panels under the "pininfarina" badge. Don't be alarmed by the left end of the badge, photo is taken on a cell phone is poor light. Quality is OEM. Cost wise they come out a bit more then the large version due to small batch run and size. I recently received the larger one. Great quality and well packaged too!! Thx so much for providing this service to your fellow F chatters Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got mine, very happy thanks Dermot! Surprising what a difference such a small detail can make. Image Unavailable, Please Login
What's the OEM distance between the badge to the Ferrari badge on the back of 458? I noticed some people put then about 1 inches apart, some just put about .25inch apart.
I think gap of 7 mm looks good which corresponds to the thickness of the badge. If you search the net you see all sorts of spacings. I recently spotted at my local Ferrari dealership a new 458 Aperta with an OEM badge that was not even put on straight !!
Thanks for this, I will probably keep this 7 mm gap. Dermott can you please get back to my mail I sent you yesterday about the shipping - thanks.
The badge on mine was put on by a main dealer in the uk. I thought the gap was to much in between the two badges, but not so sure now. It does stand out well. I have to assume ferrari got the gap size from somewhere ! Image Unavailable, Please Login
It s originaly the right place ! in the middle, between Ferrari s letters and the extremity of the motor compartment.
Still haven't applied mine, as I'm still playing with spacing. I tend to like this. Maybe a little closer, but 7mm to my eyes is too close.
