Amalgam/MR make some great models of the LaFerrari in 1/12.
I am actually working with them to build a small customized run of 5 LaFerrari in all red Rosso Scuderia. Anyone interested in a group buy? I can give you the full specs over DM...

The 1:12 Ferrari 288 GTO by Tamiya is a really nice model. The detail is great, the quality is pretty much perfect and all the doors and hoods open, exposing more detail inside.

Seems like they are going for around $800-$900 for a New in Box (NIB) version.

Amazon claims to have 93 new available starting at about $500.. Ebay has a number by Tamiya available but at higher prices. There are several listed on Ebay by other manufacturers, but the quality and detail is probably less than Tamiya, although at a lesser price.

Cool, prices have come down. I think the Tamiya is the best 1/12 version of the 288 GTO around.

Though I haven't seen the BBR 288 GTO I would be surprised if it was better than the Tamiya aside from the base. And besides, the Tamiya version is completely open/closed, whereas the BBR is totally sealed.

    I highly recommend it.

I have the 1:12 Tamiya 288 GTO in my collection. Bought it several years ago. It is great - one of the best values on the model market, and worth more than it's list price. There is no way that a BBR model would be as good. (I also have various BBR models).

I m agree, some model price by Kyosho grew up, extremely hot
for enzo 1/12....surprising when you see the finish.
Tamiya is much more detailed in ny opinion.
Another thing, now Kyosho made a white enzo..

    Headlights....
Do you know that you can find some metal part on it?
Engine for a better realism and suspension harm also.

Beautitul model, mine was delivered in 10/2008 and each time I clean them
I spent time for watch it better.
If they built with red inserts I think I bought it again...

I don't think they are also making the Dino 246 in 1/18 scale since they have just announced it in 1:18 scale at a similar price. That would just be bad business, but who knows. If they really are making the Dino in 1:12 and 1:18 scale I would certainly like to know. It is one of my favorite cars, but I would only buy one model.

You right, I ce seen pictures last week, models was in red and yellow, probably I do the mistake, thinking it was 1/12.
    Testarossa 88 is 1/12.
