Yes, my old girlfriend! 10767. Now in the hands of a collector in Virginia, I believe. I traded this mostly original car for a 67 Miura (which I showed at The Quail and Concorso). 10767 was presented at Concorso by Tom Yang.
Thank you! I figured as much, and even sent an email to Tom to confirm, but Tom has never been too eager to share serial numbers and so I wasn't surprised when I received no response. I've updated the post. Managed to get the license plate number as well: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great thread, I was there from Mon - Mon and still missed so much! There is just too much to see. Marcel, great seeing you even if it was only for a brief moment on the lawn at Pebble (sorry to interrupt!)
Great pics! Thanks for posting btw what is the fascination with s/n of cars? I dont get it, especially for the newer cars. Just asking...
Someday they won't be newer cars, and it is far easier to record and catalog history as it occurs than it is to try and go back to piece things together. See also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railfan#Trainspotting >8^) ER
There is all this information and history of different cars that helps you understand the brand as a whole, and even information relating to real world global events and people based upon Ferrari history. One of the greatest parts imo about the vintage Ferrari is all the recorded history to go with them, it's incredible.
Not to me, but I would imagine the color was developed at the car owner's request (whether via special order, a repaint, or a wrap), so the name is most likely whatever he has come up with. The owner is tech guru/angel investor/Ferrari Challenge driver Harry Cheung, but as far as I'm aware, none of Cheung's other Ferraris have worn this color or anything like it. I've also tried to decipher the significance of the license plate, but the only thing I could come up with was a possible political message - a sign of support for Ken Buck's "Blue Lives Matter" bill, which would expand the federal hate-crime statutes to include law enforcement as a protected class. Other than this, I haven't a clue what "Buck Blue" could mean.

Sold at the Gooding auction in Pebble Beach to a collector in Germany, joining several other classic competition Ferraris of the early 1950s. Marcel Massini
08011 is not a 275 GTB/C and has never belonged to Al Allen/Allin or Abe Kogan. Kogan once owned 275 GTB/4 09285, however.
The piece of paper from Ferrari of Silicon Valley placed inside the windshield on the car while it was displayed at Concorso Italiano listed the color as "Flugplatz Blu Opaco/Nero" Best -Jarrett
