Indeed, I have heard many complaints about the MCT. However, the MCT has made great strides over the years and many have praised the latest one in '16. At the same time, many would like the MCT replaced with a DCT, which might pose a problem due to the high torque AMG engines are known for.
The latest generation of S class is a very comfortable car, are you in any way missing that level of comfort and relaxing ride?
I loved the W222, it was the best Mercedes i ever had and i love the little Bentley Touch in the interior. The ride was perfect but i haven't not much seat time because the number of business drives getting smaller and on private drives my dog love to sit in his dog box in the back of our Cayenne and so i sold the S-Class and i'm sure i will miss this perfect limo. Perhaps i will get back behind a S-Class steering wheel in twenty years...
Btw the S-Class trade in was part of the deal because i didn't use it. In view of the field of application the FF is not the replacement for S-Class. It is also a daily but more a daily for the fun days not for business.

This new generation V12 is one of the greatest engines i ever driven! And to have this engine in this multiporpose car is a mind blowing combination! Love this car! For me it is one of the coolest cars ever made!
