I'm amazed at some of these prices.

    s/n 8075, a 330 2+2 similar to the one I used to own, went for £207,200, including buyer's premium. $275k.

That Porsche 993 GT2 is absolutely insane. £1.8M

What a fabulous car the 993gt2 was.. If your worth billions and want it then what's the issue, how many Riviera blue GT2's are there. 2 in the world .. So what price would you put on owning one. It was s fabulous example and really a one off car.

All of the 911s had very low mileage and were rare but after Mecum failed to sell all their rare 911s I for one felt we may have seen the end of the 911 craze but this is next level. Great prices for rare cars and we can be sure other rare 911 owners will have sat up and noticed, watch for multiple consignments at the Scottsdale auctions....

A lot of the conversations around Goodwood indicated the limited edition 911's including the GT2 were all brought by the same person.

Brought or Bought? I believe that all of the Porsche specials were from the same consignor; my understanding is that all of the expensive Porsche lots went to the same buyer. Staggering results.

Just pulling your leg. Interesting if this group of cars basically went from one collection to another.

True. All bought by one of the wealthiest (entirely self-made) men in the world who's only in his early-40s. A true rags-to-riches story.
