Top floor of the parking garage in the hood, downtown, came rolling in with my music blasting and windows down hahaha. Glad all my wheels were still there when I got back to the car. [IMG]

Ronnie, you are a parking champ! All those shots of "dooshbags" parking near you got my anxiety up as well. I have only parked at McDonalds and one garage at a mall so far in the 360. All kinds of garages in the 348.

I get there yesterday and valet asked if I wanted to self park the car. I said yes and he directed me to park on the curb away from all others.

Ronnie you have shown me that I am not alone. I knew I couldn't possibly be, but this confirmation somehow makes me feel better about it.

My wife & I went to a large furniture store a year ago or so. I went early so I knew that a parking spot would not be an issue (really ~ I thought about that). When we got there the parking lot was empty sans two employee cars way out in the corner. I STILL did not choose a spot up front by the door, instead I went six or so rows away from the door and parked next to the end of a row like I see you do when possible.

We walked the empty store for twenty minutes looking at stuff when I noticed ONE other patron entered the lobby. He walked around looking while we did. I thought nothing of it.

When we had seen enough my wife & I headed for the door. Coincidentally the lone patron was at check out finishing up & heading for the door too... I say to my wife under my breath "I bet this jackwagon parked right next to us"... We laughed.

The trio of us walked out the entrance & out to the open where we could just see my Stradale ~ and some lone mini van parked (you guessed it) smack right next to it. Parking lot of 198 other spots empty still! Of course we were still walking right along with this lone shopper that had joined us. Anyhow my wife tensed up (cause she knows me well) and I of course said outloud "what the hell? Who would have gone out of their way to do that?' It honestly had not crossed my mind that it could be this other shopper guy. I had assumed it was a vendor or maybe the janitors car or something... But with each stride (as I look at this guy) and more steps that direction - Step by step I started to realize that THIS GUY was the dolt that parked there. AND I get to talk to him - real soon.

So we get about ten feet from the cars & I say mid stride "Hey genius... There are two hundred other spots open. Why did you have to park next to the Ferrari?"

This guy - reading my current demeanor sheepishly says "ummm... I wanted to park next to the nice car" No smile from him, no smirk. Just a "whoops, gulp / that was stupid" expression.

I hit the unlock button, open my wife's door to get her settled in, then slide my sunglasses down on my nose to look over them. Shaking my head slowly I say in my best Clint Eastwood voice "Don't do that". He backed up to his minivan door slid in and slinked away.

Maybe just maybe he will remember that awkward ordeal & perhaps leave a spot between his & ours next time around.

And the piece of crap that parks so close as to ding our cars, reminds of a few years ago, a friend had this happen to his Diablo. He happened to see a brick laying on the parking lot, funny thing, when he left, the brick was planted thru the windshield of the piece of crap. The only thing better, if he had waited for the idiot driver to show up that dinged the door on his Lamborghini, and broke it over the head of that inbreed.

Epcot Food and Wine Festival starts today, runs through November 14. I'm sure this is the first of many times parking here in the next few weeks.

I took my Ferrari to a car show in Orlando one weekend, think it was Festival of Speed. I saw some nice cars in the parking lot but also lot of regular cars.

I was driving around looking for a corner spot when some guy with an F150 calls over to me. Turns out he had an exotic but didn't drive it that day. This gentleman told me that if I got a corner spot he would park his truck next to mine to protect me from getting dinged. I was pleasantly surprised.
