Jon, I think Brandoli in Italy have original tools and make spare body parts: The art of restoration - Brandoli Contact us - Brandoli Best is to call or email them in Italian (use Google translate). Freeman
Ferrari 246 Dino (1975) - Body Shell - Outer Elements: Page 102 | Order Online Eurospares Weakened value of £ should work in your favour. Not sure how price compares to Brandoli. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Please don't quote me on this but I could have sworn that I saw a new E Series front clip hanging at GT Car Parts in Arizona when I visited a few years back. Might be worth a call. Good luck.
This is the car that is going back to stock. I don't really need a front but I need part of the front as you can see from the picture. Image Unavailable, Please Login
With the people and talent in your neck of the woods this should be easy. There is no need to get a new nose if that is all you need to change. I'm sure that Simon who made the aluminum Dino in Orange County could do that in his sleep. Closer to you is Gary Bobileff who has built enough Miura clam shells that this should also be right up his alley.
Yes Jon, it is I. Your friendly 3rd world panel beater. You ask we deliver. I am overseas at the moment so ignore what is your urgency and what is your time frame. If still interested, please email at: alberto.guirola at gmail.com and will get more details together. Regards, Alberto
By stock do you mean losing the headlamp covers? Just curious... I have a set Im debating putting on mine
Actually looks pretty good, LOL! Well executed inlet and re-located turn signals. Guessing it ran sans bumpers. If you decide to contact Brandoli and need help with translation, will be glad to oblige.
I agree. No need to get a new clip. Looks like the original clip was modified locally in the mouth shape/graphic, turn signals, bumper mounts and under-tray area. Was this a U.S. spec or Euro spec car? Is the plan to go back as original? I'm working with Simon on my Stratos induction air box. I could mention it to him if you like. Freeman
I would think Brandoli could just make the piece you need rather than the hole clip. They have the bucks.
Gentlemen...I am a UK based tin basher...CANkraft I have a mild interest in this project, having made bits and bobs for Dino's for more years than I wish to remember. The only way forward with this car is to make a new nose and bonnet skin from original bucks which I have. Or ship the car back to the creator and ask him to let in a pair of front turn signals and make a new Ser 1 belly pan. From your pictures I have reservations of lower screen to scuttle fit, also where did the bumpers go in previous shots and the four series one lower air intakes... Also how is the clip spot welded to the spurs on the front sub structure...a lot of questions. .... ....or make a new steel body and put back to original🤑....in the long term, financially blue chip.
