FL junior, behind the wheel of the Lamborghini family Downdraft. Lamborghini's grandson appears to have put his motorcycle racing days behind him, much to Tonino's relief. Image Unavailable, Please Login

He's the one driving in both these videos I posted http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/144917752-post4020.html and I believe he has/had a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster also, so, the LCUK may be your best point of contact.
HLA12165 wins yet another award, congrats Harry, the detail paid off! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZJniKqWrYo[/ame]
With all the talk of convoys, here is one from the LCF @ 15 years ago, I think the car 2nd nearest the camera is Downdraft JLA12307. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Joe , Countach is having a service at the moment so have taken its fitted cover off which is in the brightest orange you could imagine and not my best choice as it clashes horribly with the paintwork and I should have bought a black one and been sensible. But if i was sensible I would not have bought a Countach in the first place. As a general rule i think being sensible is overrated. As for the Landie it is one of the few vehicles that looks right outside a English village pub or in the veld in South Africa on safari or parked in the mud at a pig farm or outside Balmoral with a crest on the door. It is a great shame that legislation means they are no longer made even when demand has not waned. I do have an old Range Rover but its not the same as that Landrover workhorse and the early ones are now rocketing in value. Living in Yorkshire we see them all the time and they do put a smile on your face and are held in great affection. And when are you coming to the UK so you can sign my book! S
Stephen, Next year we should be back in the UK again, and I'll give you heads-up! A restored Series 1 will do me nicely. FWIW our own Harry has one stashed away, you can just about see it behind the wing of his Downdraft, and he's done a nice piece on it on Harry's Garage. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Since he is an artist, this seems appropriate, the man & his machine, posterized for posterity. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Can anyone in Europe explain why an original Certificate of Origin is so rare? Are these given up when the car is first registered? Ive only ever seen one and I don't know how it survived with the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello Joe, Would you have other pictures of this event? The Tahiti Blue one might be my car on the foreground (12662). Or maybe you already have the answer? From the picture I can't tell if it is a Quattrovalvole or an earlier car. Thanks a lot! Ed.
Ed, its not a QV, and I think its your car, because, the other Blu Tahiti car that run with that group (an LP400S) has a wing whereas this car is wingless.
Anyone have driving visibility experience with the wiper parked to the edge of the windscreen? I've seen several Downdrafts that get driven with this application, and I'm wondering how much difference it makes on the road. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The car I am referring to is this car below, an LP400S S2 French-registered 541 GPZ 75. It has been retrofitted with a Downdraft engine and '87-'88 bonnet. Similarly, we have a number of Fuelie QVs in the USA that were converted to Downdraft specification years ago. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Same view of the ex-Rob Capp 1987 Downdraft, formerly UK-registered D 590 GCD, 185 EXY, EBK 1, and now something different. Bianco Perlato/Bianco with red carpeting & piping. This is a quick one. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Emilio, did you ever find out who owns this very low-mileage Italian-registered Nero Tenebre/Bianco Downdraft? Image Unavailable, Please Login
1986 Countach Downdraft, Rosso Siviglia/Bianco, a rare combination, verified by Valentino Balboni, 100% original paint and interior, unmodified from new, @ 18,000 miles, one of the best original examples extant, principals looking please contact me directly offline. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That is a stunning example. Would look great in my garage next to my other QV. Joe, will you take $1000 for it? ;-)
