Geez, you don't know when to quit. Now you insult these owners? I've owned a 308 and would buy one again if I had the garage space. You shouldn't come here as a guest and insult ANY f-car owners.

I think you've convinced me that you're an unemployed troll living in your parent's basement.

You've been called out you twit. I would expect you to come and race me for $$. What's wrong, no car?
In case you haven't noticed I say you are full of ****, don't own what you claim and only came to be a jerk.
Perhaps we have a psychiatrist here that could speculate better than I but me thinks you are just another jerk with a hard on for Ferrari owners. Do you scratch cars in parking lots?

So, either put up or shut up. If not near me(probably not) I'm sure someone else will be happy to oblige as well.

Find someone within 200 miles of Seattle and I'll give you guys 2 to 1 odds. It can even be a laferrari.

Sorry. I misunderstood your quoted language, then.

A street car can be driven around a road circuit and timed, but that's not a "race." If you want to compare results around a road circuit for different street cars, be my guest, but, frankly, I still think you'll find that Ferraris measure up quite favorably. As noted by many others, you can indeed go faster for less money, if that's the point. And, big bhp cars can easily be beaten by smaller displacement cars, depending. And, there are so many variables that the results are almost meaningless.

It's already obvious to everybody here who looks "redicolous" on this forum.

C'mon tell us the truth - that Daddy's salvage 04 Gallardo? And your mom's Bently GT (I saw that exact car going for sale for 36K in [redacted website, location]?)

If not, just curious why you would put the 458 and 911 Turbo with a different insurance carrier though?

Curious what trophies you speak of that you say you won? Usually that at least something that one should be proud to disclose.

Already answered you buddy. But I get it, "Shift S3ctor" to you definitely has more 'cred' then something called the "24 hours of LeMans." Here, take a look at the mods accepted from stock. You'll see they very much are still the 'road cars' you speak of.

    Yeah, Just sayin'

Oh boy, now our resident racer is challenging LaFerrari with 2 to 1 odds.

He's next line will be "Let's race for pinks"

How about a Killacycle? Speed is all that matters right?

Are we having fun yet? Let's recap for those who don't want to read the entire thread.

04g posts some silly **** about how Ferraris are slooooow. How other cars are faster, dangles bait out there for all of us Ferrari nuts to jump at.

    We oblige.

He counters with more silly **** about how "his cars" are zippy fast. More bait, except now he's chumming the water.

We oblige again, this time as a mad horde of Ferrari guys, gobbling the chum and churning up the water.

This goes back and forth. We ask for proof of ownership, he darts and weaves, we press, he dodges. We challenge, he deflects.

GUYS, IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON. Unless, of course we actually enjoy these exchanges, in which case 04g isn't a troll, and we're engaging in high tech head banging on a virtual wall. If that's the case, play on. If not, STOP THE INSANITY and walk away from this thread.

    That's what I'm doing, right now. :D

It's about whatever the buyer wants and is looking for. Some will want a "sick trap speed" and will be disappointed (or not..) some want the beautiful car just to look at it, some want the car to communicate with them when driving on b roads. Etc..not everyone will be happy.

I personnally dont give 2 ****s about trap speed or 0 to 60 as long as it is fast enough which nowadays most of these cars are. Even a c class AMG will be fast enough for me. As for lap times, some ferraris have set great lap times, other less so. I dont care that much to go list them again. Last time i cared i was in college and thought it mattered.

Hi Ross, I'm heading over to your house. Let's do a couple 'runs' to see who has the 'sickist' 1/2 mile time. I'll give you 2 to 1 odds.

    ;)

Then we'll race your sub-contractor. (before you fire him of course)

    Cheers

this race...probably rushing to his friend's speed shop to quickly find a 458 and 911T to take a photo next to now. They will magically appear even though he said his 458 and 911T are "all over the country"

Well said, but still cool that Ferrari beat 3 of the 4 GT40 Teams. Also glad to see the historic rivalry rekindled.

That 2006 Bentley that paulchua posted the link to, is that the one you bought or is that the one you are selling?

What you going to run with?

The salvage 360 you were interested in buying?

wait..wait..let me guess. You checking it out for a 'friend' since Ferrari are slow. Especially a 360.

that's the one that's listed on his insurance card. I have the VIN for 'his' Gallardo too. Another salvage. I would be surprised if it ran.

now ain't that really sad - buying non-running cars, then going on boards to brag about em'

    oh boy.

What's funny is by him posting his insurance card, he missed that he just destroyed his own argument. His point all along is you should only buy the 'fastest' cars...yet the cars he choose to prove his bonafides don't even qualify to prove his main point, in fact they DISPROVE his point.

it's fun though...what can I say, I'm a dad, I'm used to and enjoy playing 'fantasy' with kids.

Agreed, different strokes for different folks. SCEye - take a look at the whole thread for context (if you have not already) - if you got the time (and stomach)

    Cheers
