Jack I understand that but whats the difference?

Was it an option or a Model year change?

    Chas,

The Campagnolo wheel was 7.5" wide vs the Cromodora at 6.5". The Campy was an option on the E Series (Matthias knows from what chassis number on) combined with the flares.

    Chas,

I agree! It's a popular "plug and play" option! Looks great with the stock flares. Gives a better stance IMO. Superformance has the best prices for the repro. Original was mostly magnesium. The repros are aluminum.

Agreed, you can't go wrong either way and easy to change it up.

    Chas,

That's them! I don't have any personal experience with the wheels or Superformance. Hopefully someone will chime in with their experiences.

The Campagnolo wheels from SF are very good, the only difference is they do not have the "campagnolo" emblem embossed into the wheel as the originals.

Mine have the Campagnolo name on them Tony but it is a different style to the originals. I forgot to say that they require the repro Campagnolo centre caps which are also available from Superformance.

You need the ss ones Chas. They fit inside the hub and are held in place by a circlip type ring that comes with them. To fit the yellow Dino centre cap badges you would need to modify a set of push in type hubcap centres like the ones on the 308 etc. If you go that route then I would recommend buying a set of replica Dino wheel centres from Rob (Nuvolari) or Paul (rosemeyer) on here as their product is far superior to SF's.

The Campy's will take the same size tyre as the Cromodora wheels.

The photo's flatter my car at that point in time Freeman. It was a nice example then but by no means perfect. It had undergone a restoration with a previous owner and the body shaping was not correct, especially the sills. It was absolutely transformed when I had the bodywork properly restored and finished in it's original delivered colour of Bianco Polo Park and the interior put back to the correct vinyl and mousehair.
