I was at a local dealer and saw a super rare Black F50 for sale. I was told the car had 1200 miles on it. The owner also traded in his sub 600 mile F40, and 1200 mile Red Enzo for a LaFerrari and Mclaren F1. Any idea of how many black F50's exist?

Didn't even know there were any dealers in the US that had a McLaren F1 for sale...

From what I was told it was brokered by the owner of the dealership to a long time customer and friend.

Is it Herb Chambers? Really sad to hear the F40 had only 600 miles. :(

From my understanding the F50 was already sold and therefore not advertised. The collector who traded the Enzo and the F40 is not the same collector from whose collection the F50 came.

Only the black F50, of the three. It's been sold to another collector. Many of the cars from this collection have been sold off.

I was there yesterday and they said it wasn't sold. The white 599 GTO is identical to the car that is there now. I know they sold the Saleen S7 from the thread that Erik attached.

Chassis 029? Only brown one in the US I know of. 039 belonging to a dead Mexican druglord is probably not the one as no one has seen that in a long long time.

I've heard the transaction involves a McLaren P1 (rather than an F1).

Yeah - a friend of the owner of F1 029 insists that car wasn't in the market and hasn't moved. 039 continues to be MIA so that's doubtful as well.

If it is a P1, then maybe it is the Brodger Fire Brown car that Miller had?

It was a brown P1 that traded hands and went to a local collector. There are pictures online when it very briefly came through MG if you search for them. It is very likely that it was the same one for sale at Miller.
