Are these cars, with the exception of the Paris show cars, built? Will there be one of each or are they merely suggested specs that you can order through Tailor Made?

Also, isn't F12 B production drawing to a close, or will they still do a you an anniversary car if required ?

Some designs look great, others less so. The 365GTC/4 with ugly tartan fabric interior... sheeesh... Many cars only adds a stripe and a small badge... Good marketing... or not?

so are the "themes" matched to the car or can you choose any theme for any car.

I am fan of this concept. I would love to go back to old, "glory days", when every Ferrari was unique, specified to owner's personal taste. Now it would be difficult to change bodies of each car because of homolagation issues, but you can get a taste of it by using interesting materials and paint schemes. This being said, some of the configurations are not well-researched. GTO in white? All of them were red, IIRC.

That one's priceless isn't it? The car pictured was Chris Evans' car which was resprayed white with blue interior (not black and orange as the text states) as is clearly visible in some of the pictures. It went back to red after Evans sold it. But this 'icon' means you end up with a white Ferrari that looks just like any other white Ferrari. Wow! Bonus for the genius who thought that up.

Graham, here's the F12 I saw on stand in Paris yesterday. There will be one car of each livery made, say Ferrari. Do they look special? Well...I walked around the stand, clocked the LaF Aperta, noted the Lusso T mainly because of its sign (looks otherwise identical pretty much) and then thought, hm, a 488 and an F12, fine. Only when I was told they were the livery cars did I note the plaques, and signs and painted shields (which you can get anyway).

For me they looked like interestingly specced standard cars. The Tailor Made 488 Spider was super cool though.

    Hi guys,

as a Steve McQueen fan I have to ask: did anyone get a glimpse of the actual colour name/code of the McQueen car?

In photos/videos it looks quite a bit darker than the original car. Ferrari website says its “Marrone Scuro, the dark solid brown of the original car”.
Yet McQueen’s car is often called “marrone metallizzato” ...

Steve McQueen's 250 GT Lusso Berlinetta Scaglietti chassis #4891 GT was originally painted "Marrone 19378 Italver".
There were three Lussi (plural) originally painted in this same color. The other two were chassis #5117 GT and #5597 GT.
There is/was no color with the name "Marrone Scuro". There is/was also no color with the name "Marrone Metallizzato".

seems like another way to make a few dollars .. for ferrari and the dealers... I cannot imagine it would have any long term effect on value as if it is a success in 5 years there would be a 75th anniversary special edition of 750 cars or what have you. It seems to me once they quit numbering the cars i.e. #35 of 500 .. they really loose a lot of collectibility.

I think the bespoke interiors will make replica's quite difficult to make.

Some really good looking cars here as well as some absolute howlers
The inspiration for some is a bit of a reach but its a good marketing idea to keep Wall Street happy. The shares are now hovering around the IPO price
