Im looking at getting some HRE wheels made so they might go up for sale in the future. They are 16's though
Its definately different. Its a Koenig upgrade fitted on the car in 84 when it was purchased new. I like the stance its not a purist car but its unique
I'm not sure the owners of Chateau Impney will be too impressed having their posh hotel described as a "pub"!

It was a nice car when I purchased it but had to do a few things to bring up to Platinum quality. Nothing major but things like replace cracked gear shift knob, new gas cap flap, chromed Ferrari badge and horse in rear (someone painted black), rubber bumper on the gas side cover, replaced rubber seal around trunk. The car has 40,000 miles so the interior was cracked and yellow. I had it restored by AIR Restoration and it look great. I wanted to keep the original interior in the car. The judges commented on how nice the interior look. A little harder this year because of the new 97 point requirement.
That's a decent list of things to fix. I am still working on getting mine to Platinum. With the help of this great community I'm very very close on my '85 QV. I'm down to the final tiny things... And agree that the new points target makes it even harder.
Good luck, I am sure you will achieve the Platinum rating your are working towards. PM me if you have any questions or need help with anything.
