Cmf have better prices but the diference towards a bbr/looksmart is not that great....if you pick the cmf at about 150/160€, you can get the others for about 200€ so i think it's worth the extra money.

CMF would be smart to not make the same cars as BBR/Looksmart. And to find someone who can make an accurate shape.

Agree...ihe 350 can am was a great model, the 612 can am was a great idea..the shape was ok but the level of detail and build quality was horrible...with a litle more work it could have been a great model.

I'm hoping for a BBR version instead... wondering if they plan to making one?

Yes, window frames are weak at best.....and the wheels are terrible!! Once again Tecno has cut corners to save some money and used a generic "one-size-fits-all" style from other models that is wrong for these cars. That said I might still get one, AND also buy a separate set of better....and more accurate wheels to replace those "things" they used.

What does everyone think of the upcoming Tecnomodel Ferrari 250P coming out early next year?

No, but Looksmart are and so far they have been making their models every bit as good as the bbr ones.

The Mangusta is one of my all time favorite sports cars - from a design standpoint.

Granted that these photos are early pre-production samples.... Tecnomodel generally does not make any significant changes, corrections or improvements after the samples are shown. So with that said, I am once again disappointed. The wheels are wrong, that mirror should not be there, and the more critical body shape appears to be wrong as well, and that can not be fixed. I will of course reserve final judgement until I at least see better and comprehensive photos.

Unikat Models form Germany has also made 1:12 scale models of the Mangusta (I have one) but they are basic, simple and a little weak,.......but still better than what I am seeing here from Tecnomodel. Unikat had also announced quite awhile ago that they would also make this in 1:18 scale and with opening panels, but I doubt it will ever be produced.

Tecnomodel are cranking out various 1:18 models like factory made sausages. I know that not everyone will agree here, but I would much prefer models that are more accurate, and better detailed, and at a slightly slower rate of production if needed. Most of these models have interiors that are toy-like - looking more like a bBurago toy than a good hand built model. I would be fine with somewhat higher prices for the extra effort and quality to produce better models. I prefer buying quality not quantity.

I agree with you Marshall...their models are normaly very basic when youn put them next to a looksmart or a BBr..and at the same price!! But again, soemthimes they are the only option....i must say however, even if not perfect i like both models i have from them, the 512s codalunga and the 365 p2

    new from Looksmart...1964 158...

early prototype i guess, no blue rims...kind opf looks like a 143 model rather than a !/18...i'm sure it will be better when ready.

Is this 1:18 scale and if so is it the new curbside range they are doing? Thanks.

That looks great. Kyoto typically does a really nice job. Nice shapes, good details.
