You may want to define the term very low miles.
Also are you looking worldwide or ????
    US spec, euro spec ?

Yes thank you for pointing that out. A US spec car, low miles meaning the lowest I can find at an appropriate price,
it should be like new everywhere, with no or minimal wear on the drivers seat and no damage, with all its components that were delivered with the car, manual and tools.

Mileage is easy! What exact number would you like the odometer to reflect? Haha!
All kidding aside there are some very, very nice examples owned by people on this board. +1 with Russ Gould, $150k is where I would expect to be also. Keep us posted and best of luck in your search!

Thanks for the input, I intend to keep it and drive it so mileage is not quite as important as condition. I have had a couple in the past, and bought xa new one in 1989. I just lifted my ass as I got in so as not to wear the leather bolster and when I sold it with 15,000 on it, it looked show room new. So its more a matter of how someone took care of it.

What is the recommended service where the engine comes out? What does that cost?

I have a pristine 1986 328 GTS, Red/Black, all original, just had major service performed, 8,000 miles. Let me know if interested. Tom

328 doesn't need engine out service. Major service every 5 years. I remember paying about $5600 (dealer) on 2 separate occasions. Don't know if that has gone up as 328 prices have skyrocketed since 2014.

Pristine 328 are out there. A low mileage car will probably meet your needs as very few (none?) have been restored. So your best chance at a "perfect" 328 is one with low miles.

The most fragile elements of these cars is the interior leather and maybe the paint (soft, it swirls easy and tends to get chips in the exposed areas, no clear coat).

So, in order to get a car that has a showroom quality, one with low miles (under 10,000) is the way to go.

They are out there. And yes, for a GTS, expect to pay between $100,000 and $150,000.

Here's a 1988. No affiliation. I stopped by today to look at it but it was at an offsite location and I didn't get to see it. Sales guy said it came out of a local collection.

Side note - they had a McLaren F1 GTR (LM?) on display. Pretty nice.

I absolutely love my 89 328 GTS . Its been very well kept up,Ive had it for many years,I sill love to drive it . With that being said NO 328 is worth 100-150 K . Absolutely insane ! I cant understand why anyone would pay that kind of money for one, no offense to the said poster. .I bought mine many years ago with 20 K Miles for 48 k , its even nicer now than it was then .Im not sure why these cars have these price tags attached to them, except for greed . Just my observations . Good luck with your search, I hope you can secure a deal thats to your liking. Im grateful that I bought mine long ago, because I could have never owned my dream car in todays so called Ferrari market .

If you owned one, why would you think that the engine comes out? Also, if you put 15k miles on it, you should have records as to what the major service costs because you would have done it at least once.

Also, people will take you more seriously if you fill out your profile and let people know where you are and such. Although at this point, I think that the people who own the car you want probably will not.

FYI, the best 1989 328 GTS that I know of sold at RM in Monterey. It was technically an 88.5 but that's essentially an '89 for all intents and purposes (who need the ABS hardware, anyway). It was multiple platinum award winning car, including a Cavallino Preservation Cup winner.
