I have not posted here previously but after two scorching days here in NC (overnight lows are 77 degrees!) I've got to say: there is nothing like that first cold beer of the morning.
I walk my dog in a big park / lake just five minutes from me house. By 9:30 or 10 we get back home...his tongue is hanging out and so is mine. Yep, 10:00 am starting time both days this weekend. Girl beer, though, nothing like you guys post on here
Ha! Whats a girl beer? Like a Bud Light? I drink Bud Light when I go out to restaurants usually. Good stuff when I'm at home.
Well, we'll be able to share a bucket of beers if we ever meet. HA! I actually just changed to Bud Light from Miller a few years ago. I've found that it doesn't bother my stomach like other light beer. So on those occasions where I drink in excess, that hangover doesn't happen. I haven't had Kolsch in a long time. I may have to pick some up now that you mentioned it. I was looking for Mickey's last week, but couldn't find it anywhere.
Gaffel Kolsch is available nationwide and is a good example. The local brew is called White Street brewed in Wake Forest NC.
Been a long time since I've had this. Not as easy to find as it used to be. White man's malt liquor. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Went to a private party at No Label Brewing last night. Really good time and the guy that was bartending, and the only No Label employee on the site, was awesome. He let is try one of their IPAs straight out of the batch that still has to go through its dry hop stage. And then he gave me a buddy a little bit of Gatorade that they carbonated for the hell of it. It was damn good, and something Gatorade should make. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Been trying so many local brews and weirdly have gravitated to the Pilsner. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have so many to post but you guys need to post in between or it looks real bad! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That's the craziest beer place that I've ever seen! It's still summer, so Pilsners are perfect. Cheers! . Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ha! Don't feel bad, I've been drinking the same thing so nothing new to post about. How is the Goose Island experimental?
Really nice, and it came in a variety pack sold at Sam's. In fact 3 out of 4 were very good. Their Oktoberfest is now in the back of the fridge. I couldn't find any info on their website, but here instead: https://www.tjsheehan.com/portfolio/goose-island/goose-island-autumn-experimental-ale . Image Unavailable, Please Login
Of all the places to find it. LOL. I'm going to Seattle this week for my friends wedding, and he text me this yesterday saying they're ready and waiting for me to enjoy. Image Unavailable, Please Login
