I do not post diecasts on this thread very often but since 99% of the diecast forums are 1/18th here it goes. This is an ok quality 1/24th Italian subscription diecast Ferrari series. The reason I post is because several of the cars are not available as kits in 1/24th scale. Here is the list. Most are not worth getting but a few are if you are into 1/24th scale Ferrari's. I have no problem pulling the paint off a metal diecast and rebuilding into a nice model if the diecast is accurate. They are up to number #29 now. #2, #4, #18, #20, #29, #34 and #35 I have not seen in a plastic kit yet. Not sure what the 1967 Dino and 365 GTB/4 Comp will be yet. You can find them on ebay. By the way, the TDF is a late series car, not a 1956 version. Sometimes the diecasts are more accurate!!! Take the Alfa GTA. Both Quattroroute, Tamiya and Gunze made 1/24th scale models, but the diecast Quattroroute is the best in most areas as it has the competition seats, much better wheels and tires and under trunk detail. Yes better than Tamiya!! This Le Grandi series is not nearly as good as the Quattroroute(Black Box) series. Another photo of the Alfa 33TT12 resin kit in 1:24 scale, by Two Cats Modelos.. Way overdue car in 1/24th scale!!! I cannot believe no one has done one before. Hiro only duplicated the Alfa T33 kits already done by someone else. Will they duplicate this now ?? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Funny that I've seen the real thing run numerous times and honestly don't care about it at all but strangely the model is calling to me.

I have the Hermosilla kit and it compares very well to The Model Maker plans, prepared from Aston Martin works plans. I've compared it to a friend's Profile 24 kits and it is much superior to them.

Tom, that's very interesting. Who is selling them, and any idea on price, and what the size of the run will be? Thanks!
A few months ago I might have been interested in a reissue of his 512BB but MFH have made that somewhat less appealing. </understatement>
Forgot about this Lotus 77 reissue in 1/20th scale from Hiro. I hope the next Hiro 1/12th Ferrari kit is a 330 LMB 1/2 million hits... Not bad for a model car kit thread!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Guys, i have a silly question but really wanted to clear this up. I know the 512bb lm was a group 5, but what does this means? Should it be considered a sports prototype or a gt? I'm asking because i want to display my colection separating the gts and the sport prototypes...and although i believe this one should be a gt i'm not 100% sure.
