I made a torque adapter with a 1/2" drive on the end of it. Even with that the ones on the two extreme ends of the block, especially behind the flywheel are a drag to torque up.

Looks fantastic. And you do an amazing job at cleaning up the block with just a brush and chemicals.

    :)

OK, so by the looks of the block laying in the driveway, are you power washing them? Care to share the chemicals?

And, I fully respect if these are trade secrets and you don't wish to share :)

No it was very clean inside and no rust in the cylinders considering it sat for 16 years 5 of which were outside.

Im having a stencil made for the a/c clutch to reproduce the original look.

Original socket adapters were retained during the DOT mod but they soldered in a different socket which Ive since removed. Trying to source correct looking sockets.

Ignition box metal decals are just about ready. I had them reproduced as well.

Fuel pump assemblies are in, shame they aren't easy to see once installed.

One signal lens needed replacing the other resealing so they both came off so I could address the inside of both. Note in the first light housing pic that the forward half has brush marks in the paint. Im always amazed but never surprised at some of the processes I see.

Newer gas pedal mechanisms are not a work of art like the carb'd car pedals, a bean counter move for sure. No spherical bearings or aluminum castings anymore....

Remember you can always ask me to reproduce decals in CAD for ya (vector, rasta, whatever). No one beats my prices, no one ;)

Thank you! Today is a perfect example of why local is better in some cases...I drove my BB to the graphic place I use so they could take a pic of my tire decal on my windshield so it could be reproduced.

That gas pedal is from same company that suply Lamborghini on their Diablo -model, not identical, but very similar. (somewhere there is gas-o-pedal -company, that keeps pushing great deals for car manufacturers)

Testarossa uses the same pedal as the injected boxers.
