I sure hope not, but - regardless - someone in a 328 got nailed pretty good. Looks like maybe they got hit on the passenger side and spun around into the pole. Praying the passengers fared better than the car.
That photograph could be from anywhere or any time frame. Plus your profile doesn't give a clue as to where you are posting from. How would anybody on FChat know the car unless they recognized the people in the picture?
There is only one "Asheville" in the continental USA. Inspection of the background shows a US spec American make car driving past. Situational awareness...it's not just for pilots. Anyway...the photograph is making the rounds, I noticed it, and decided to ask the question.
I agree. Quite frankly I was posting up out of concern for the occupants...the hit looks intrusive enough to result in a broken leg at the very least.
Well, actually I was wondering, because I seem to recall that picture from quite some time ago; i'm almost sure this is not a recent accident... Rgds
Insurance threw in the towel three seconds before the pole. The car held up well, IMO. We have full tube frames and North American versions have door beams. Condolences to the owner. Can I have the "low Miles" gauges??
