That's really neat Chris! The Miura roof height looks the same, or close. I always picture it lower than the Countach.
Here is Downdraft FLA12831 and SE30 089/150 at the Lamborghini Festival. Spectacular. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow, this are very early pictures of #JLA12366! Middle East spec car, later on it got the front bumper a little bit shaved. Thanks for sharing Stefan!
The Middle East cars were a mixture of applications. For the FIA Homologation application, they used a Downdraft with the ME/USA rear safety panel, but completely Eu/ROW front end. Image Unavailable, Please Login
One of my favorite automotive images is this one - Harry's car on an old stone Italian city street, completely bespattered with road grime from some fast driving in the Alps! Image Unavailable, Please Login

For the folks in RHD countries, Simon Furlonger has a well-known (aren't they all?) RHD 88.5 Downdraft Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole For Sale | Kent, South East, Kent | Furlonger Specialist Cars
Looks like Foskers here in the Uk have another RHD 88.5 coming to market. https://twitter.com/Foskers?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor But the '85 QV RHD car that was for sale at Mark Donaldson has sold. Gone to a good, long term home. Expect it to debut at next year's Countach Lunch!
The Foskers car is the famous ex-Gerald Carroll Downdraft JLA 12397, a special-order thing like yours. Indeed, congratulations to DM for becoming a new member of the Downdraft Owners Club last week!!
Great news! I have my spies and know that you and D were down with Mike P today. Jealous am I? too right. Exciting times ahead for D and his new purchase. Get his butt on this forum and lets see some pictures of the new purchase. R
Fosters - sorry, Foskers (!) 88.5 was somewhere else recently - Dick Lovetts? Yes, here is a photo : Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes indeed, I posted a pic of none other than Chris Harris sitting in it @ Dick Lovetts a while back. Image Unavailable, Please Login
D's car is a very early Downdraft, here it is on the 50th Tour. I have a feeling this car will be looking better & better in ensuing years Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm renewing my request for any information about the current whereabouts of E 734 KYL (which was sometimes in my care), full chassis number ZA9C005A0HLA12187. I believe this car is in fact still UK-registered to this same number as this image suggests, although it may reside in the South of France. Image Unavailable, Please Login
