    +++ 83 Häuser durchsucht +++ Fünf Bosse in U-Haft +++ | Millionen-Razzia gegen Bau-Mafia! - Frankfurt - Bild.de

There are tax/IRS issues (tax evasion and fraud) and money laundering problems. Article says that no fewer than 600 police officers, customs and tax investigators and state attorneys raided several luxury houses and villas, offices and apartments, in Frankfurt and other German cities. Several Ferrari supercars, expensive paintings and jewelry, computers and other properties were confiscated. This included a rare 1:8 scaled Amalgam model of a Ferrari LaFerrari that the owner of a LF had received from the factory. Five people from Germany, Iran, Greece and Austria were arrested (pretrial detention), aged between 34 to 49 years.

Maybe in a year or two there will be a court auction of an LF, an F12 and an F12 tdf and others?

    God damned !

First of all, the accused is always presumed innocent in all types of proceedings; proof is always the burden of the accuser.

but the article clearly refers to a German F-chat member ... with a very serious F-car collection.

    The F12 is identical

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ff-gtc4lusso-f12/418022-new-toy.html

and the name is the same as the one quoted in the article.

The guy is a German doctor with an incredible supercar collection.

    Laf, tdf, GTO x 2, SLR, SLS, GTB x 2, F12 X 2...and many more.

Lets end this on the basis …
the accused is always presumed innocent in all types of proceedings; proof is always the burden of the accuser.

In the US the burden of proof is on the accuser is that true of European countries as well? If so how can they haul away his stuff w/o a trial or they “just storing it for him” prior to trial?

It sounds more like civil forfeiture laws in the US and how they can take a suspect's property and have it sorted it out later if the suspect can prove no wrongdoing (it's commonly done in the US and here in FL for drug related crimes).

Typically stuff can be taken if it's suspected as being part of a crime. I'm guessing that if they're hauling away as much stuff as they are, the probably have some pretty solid evidence to go on.

OK but still sounds like lack of due process but then I am no attorney. Good luck sorting it out later if the charges are not proven. I am sure the civil authority is very helpful sorting it out later.

Ferrari cars etc. seizure in Frankfurt took place according to § 111c StPO, German law is very different to U.S.law.

I've never seen a tow truck lift a car like the truck in the link is lifting that F12...that can't be good for the car!

He publicy claimed ownership over the following cars

    Ferrari Laferrari
    Ferrari F12 Tdf
    Ferrari F12 x 2
    Ferrari 599 GTO x 2
    Ferrari 599 GTB
    Ferrari 612 Scaglietti
    Ferrari 365 GT 2+2
    Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren
    Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG
    Mercedes-Benz G Class
    Fiat 600

It's difficult to understand why he was displaying his (Allegedly) ill gotten gains under his real name, showing his face on pictures he posted.

I'm pretty disappointed. he seemed to be the ideal son-in-law, looking good, a Noble Job (Physician)...

And he was a very cool member, giving us great information when he attended the private presentation of the tdf...
