After a few years of being away from Ferrari ownership and only ever owning mid/rear engine cars, I have finally taken the leap and bought an F12. I figured it was time learned what all the fuss with the front engined V12s were about. I could not be more pleased. The car is fantastic and worth all the accolades given it here and in the press.

I was able to put a few miles on it over the weekend, but i can see it will take some time to get used to the power, balance, steering, etc. It is quite different from everything else I have owned. I think it will be one of those cars that I will learn something about every time I take it out.

I need to thank Tony Nevotti, Craig Becker, and Ryan Dohongne for a great transaction and a fantastic car. Everyone at Ferrari of Houston has been great to work with.

    Great looking car, congratulations!

    Looks like Argento Nurburgring?

I like the contrast of the silver to the dark wheels. Are the wheels 458 style?

Thanks. Yes it is argento. IMHO, one of the best colors on this car. Really does accentuate the lines. It has a very impressive presence.

Thanks. I was told that these are very similar to the LaFerrari wheels... I really like how simple they are. Here is a bit better pic. Sorry, but all are cell pics so not the best.

Thanks all. had a really nice day here yesterday and had some time to took it out for a drive. This car is an absolute AXE MURDERER as far as power and acceleration. Just amazing. However, it feels well balanced. Given the HP and steering ratio, needs gentle inputs from throttle and steering. It feels light. Very different from the mid-engine cars I
am used to, but in a good way. It is a keeper.

Yea I was very impressed with my f12 test drive months ago. Can't get that sound with accompanying acceleration out of my head. Its making me reconsider my future plan on adding a 488 spider.

I was planning on getting a 458 spider and then getting on the list for a 488 spider. I think the F12 is so good I will stay with it. Doesn't hurt that I have to rear engine cars with tops that go down in the barn with the F12!

    Better pic of the wheels.

Haven't seen those wheels on a f12 before, was that an option? Are they forged?
