I've got another PTS paint code question- I own a 77 930 that the COA lists code 99 Metallic paint to sample. The Paint tag list paint code as 707. I've never seen that code on another Porsche has anyone ever tripped across that paint code. Car was unfortunately repainted in another color but we have found enough of the original color to match it.

I can now confirm that I have been able to purchase from a friend Porsche Club Tessin member his MY1975.
It is number 148, sold to AMAG Swiss from Porsche on June 1st 1975.

The car is currently painted black (and as such is present in Ryan's Registry) but was originally Sonderfarbe Tombac Metallic.

The interior looks like this below.
Very un-usual for a 930 but I got confirmation from somebody with access to the Porsche Archives (don't ask me how he does it) that it is indeed the original interior.

I have my work cut-out in the next several months to bring it back to the original specification.

The original factory paint tag has gone missing in the re-paint, but there is some kind of substitute in place that lists 747-9-3.

Once back to the original specification should look very much like this one below (already posted on this 3D).

Congrats - the carpets have a similar purple-hue to ’75 #0163 before its original interior was replaced prior to sale at RM Auctions. I would highly encourage you to inspect all interior components and keep everything as original as possible. On my car, I found over a dozen production numbers on the inside of various interior parts and I left everything in place even though some pieces have minor defects and wear.

Not sure but interesting that the lollipop seat has a 917 part number with 930 part number brackets.

    Very nice period pictures.

Is anybody able to confirm how many 930 MY 75 were built in 1974?
Somebody told me 157 (or until number 157)...

My newly acquired #148 was invoiced to the swiss importer AMAG only on June 1st and registered for road use only on September 10 1975.
Must have been used for some kind of demo purposes.

    Very cool photos.

Option M469 (no cost) - chrome instead of black trim.

Looks like it was equipped with optional Pirelli P7s.

Karl Ludvigsen mentions 7 (demo and press) in Porsche, Excellence was Expected.http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/143949177-post4006.html

    '75 #0148 should have a Apr/May '75 production date.

Still astonishing to see how few ROW '75 and '76 cars are for sale in Europe. I called early911s who told me they have 40 (forty!) 3.0 Turbo in stock, both Row and USA, all restoration projects though, no original cars, including a few 75.

As many of you know, the new Porsche 911 Turbo was the reason Porsche started Porsche Driving School. This letter came with the viper 1975 shown above. It's an invitation to join the event at may 2nd 1975. The location is Zandvoort racetrack. The instructors: Gijs van Lennep - who won Le Mans one year later - and Ben Pon, son of the Dutch Porsche importer in the Netherlands and also a famous racer.

This production document is extremely interesting.

I would love the equivalent for my #148, but was under the impression that Porsche does not release them any longer for owners.
    Do you have information otherwise?

    Thanks.

Great to see this documentation...this '75 Turbo was also ordered with chrome vs. black trim.

Typo in my post above http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/144983010-post6588.html chrome vs. black is M446 vs. M469 (black headliner).

Do you know which Porsche model had these door panels? I have them at home and I was told that belonged to an early 930 but I don't think so... Any clue? Thanks.
