Looking at the pics again of the Mangusta, all I can say is that the list of mistakes/inaccuracies is long.

Anyone know what happened to the Looksmart GTO Evoluzione? It was one of the first models announced with what seems like a picture of a production ready model, yet Looksmart has in the meantime released several other models.

Yeah.... No clue! Apparently their following BBR's footsteps... announcement and teaser and then 14 months later it appears without notice... Take BBR's 208 GTB for example!

I was once a good friend of a guy who was setting out to produce 1/43 builts and kits. He had been made rudundant from his job and cash was bit short, but his first two models were very well received in the market.

In no time at all, several of his well established competitors identified the theme he had chosen, announced a host of 'forthcoming' models of the same type but never actually produced any of them. This was obviously aimed at causing uncertainty in the market and undermining my friend's efforts.

Happily, my friend'is business is thriving, 40 years later, whereas some of the once famous competitors have fallen by the way,.

I am not suggesting that this is happening again now with 1/18 models, but a long list of 'forthcoming' models must give others pause for thought and lead to customers holding back until they can see physical models.

Nice to see the F60 America. I was beginning to wonder if it would ever be released.

But it is..Mr/Looksmart is in an open war against BBR/concept 18/bluemoon....and tecnomodel is trying to get them both..while CMF is fighting for scraps!!!
They all anounce the same models, and try to get them out before the others!!! Crazy stuff really!!

Actually I ordered the Looksmart version but seeing the BBR version gave me hope. :)

The badging on the base of the BBR does look really nice.

Just preordered BBR's 1/18 LaFerrari Aperta. Probably will see it next year. :)

The shape looks ok but the finish from the roof and the fishtail is wrong....also the airscoop for the engine looks cheap, without a mesh

Hmmm. At first glance it appears a bit narrow. Will have to study it more when I have some down time.

Thanks...i have some doubts if the rear flap is correct, i still haven't found a good picture of it but in some races it was thiner and fixed in a diferent way...more like a gurney flap.
