    I have never seen a reason why so many where used. I guess I could see 2. Different shots, extra car incase of mishap, that type of thing. 3 is probably all of the white ones in Florida at that time. Maybe that was the only color available in Fl. Come to think of it, the first Countach I drove was a white one in Florida. :)

    Rob, Harry, JB - I'd like some additional ride-height input if possible, the measurement from the bottom of the sill to the ground would be appreciated.

    Ive asked before and noted Nils' helpful input, but additional data would be good.

    I believe I had mentioned earlier (in response to someone's comment) that some Downdrafts of European or Swiss heritage originally had the front license plate affixed to the front spoiler as opposed to the bumper.

    Here is such an example.

    In Switzerland the plate relates to a person not a particular car. Am I correct in thinking this arrangement allows the plate to be removed for use on another car?

    I think you are correct, but, I was only speaking of the placement of the front plate in the spoiler as opposed to the bumper.

    Here is a Swiss car with plate-mounting hardware that allows the plate to removed & replaced at will.

    Correct, with Oldtimers (more than 30 years) you can drive up to 7 cars with the same plates, else two cars.
    That's why we have those quick exchangers mounted.

    Pretty sure the 4 litre was a different episode, from season one. The 5000S/QV was a later episode.
