I was visiting Al "Strictly Ferrari" Ierardi today and saw the latest GT/4 he's worked his magic on. It's 1977 Euro and it's a beaut.

Well at least they're lower than next year's!
I think that he's asked, and gotten, more than he wants for this one.

I applaud anyone or any car that they have restored. This appears to be another stellar example buy it is not a style I would consider owning. .

I'm looking at one on eBay right now and although the Bertone design has never been my favorite I will admit they look much better in person than in photographs. The one I'm looking at is a '75 so it has the advantage of being smog exempt in California. It looks very clean but there are some oddities in the pictures. For one thing the bumpers, even as US spec seem to stick out WAY further than I've ever seen. Another thing is the shots of the engine, while it looks incredibly clean it appears as though the entire thing has been spray painted silver. The nuts, bolt heads, studs, carb linkages and even return springs are all the exact same color. Looks nice now but I imagine it would turn into a heck of a mess eventually. Raises a red flag for me.

    Take a look for yourself

those are the very first US bumpers. Mine has them, Ive seen maybe 4 or 5 others with them over the past few years. Ferrari switched them to the other style US bumpers for free at the dealers so most people did that. very rare these days.

Im no expert on the engines but would have to agree with you.

also another beautiful car from Al!
