The car make is not French (and the coachbuilder is not Oblin), but I think you're headed in the right direction.

I was looking too for French cars or Oblin bodies... So, maybe it's a British car ?

    Correct!

Yeah, wrong direction for this one. Not a fiberglass kit/special, but a real sports car bodied by a somewhat obscure coachbuilder.

Taillights made me searching for special bodies on Aston Martins and Austin-Healeys but didn't find a match so presume it's neither of those.

It's neither an Aston Martin nor an Austin Healey.

Interesting car, didn't hear of that coachbuilder before...

But as Smiles guessed what it might be I'll let him to answer...

I don't have the coach builder yet.

Go ahead and take it if you know.

Ok. This Jaguar XK120 was made by Carrosserie Jean Barou, from Tournon, France. There are pictures of several Barou-bodied Jags, a bit uncertain if one car was modified or how many they really built.

Uhlik Healey from 1946. Czech coachbuilder.

That Jag XK120 was well disguised by Barou.
