Love the new name, Dave! Now you're even closer to that new business you've always wanted to start: Skanky RX.

    1. Do the Engine ECUs need reflashed ?

    2. Can the TCU then be removed ?

    3. Dash - What if anything does the gear indicating do ?

I looked into this and would be all over it if I still had my 360.
I believe you need manual cars engine ECU's.
    Yes you remove the TCU.
    Yes dash needs a mod.
It's all in the old conversion thread.

What happens to the harnesses that are meant for the F1 car? Once you remove the TCU and so on those connectors would be connected to...NOTHING?

It's also more than one connector for the TCU correct?

I would include the engine ECUs from this car if the buyer wants them but the car is a 99 so it's probably not the most up to date tune you could get. You would probably want to get them reflashed anyway so might as well reflash the ones you have.

If you look at my other auction you can see a picture of a complete F1 harness. It's not too big and can easily be removed when you pull you F1 pump and parts or you can leave it all if you want just unplug it all behind the passengers seat. This MT car has the empty connectors that the F1 harness would plug into if it was there behind the passengers seat.

The gauge clusters are the same between F1 and MT they just have a different program flash. I'd offer the one from this car but I believe it is fried. I went through every fuse on the car and replaced a few to get it running but I could never get the cluster to light up or work at all.

The programming for the F1/3 pedal differences in the instrument cluster are contained in a 2 Mb chip in the instrument panel. FAI should be able to reprogram that chip.

Without hijacking the thread I have a manual cluster which I can sell if you need it to help with this conversion...

Should be the best modification. I wonder why not much 360 owners are taking the dive to convert.

Since this thread got brought back to the top I guess I should update it and let anyone looking at this know it sold some time ago. Thanks.
