Hi guys. It seems to be the moment of the instruments... Some years ago it was necessary to replace the clock of my Dino. It's clear that I never looked at him closely in the past tool if only now I realize the things that now I show to you. 1- the ring for backlighting is green . The light of all other instruments are white 2- In all other instruments it's not visible any ring. What happened to my clock? How can I fix it? Image Unavailable, Please Login
to me it looks like somebody has repaired your clock.... the little black round thing, to hold the hands, doesn`t look original to me..... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you Matthias. I never thought to this little detail. So even this is not completely original because it lacks the red hand. Curious. It comes from a well known seller. Wow ! I was thinking to it as a Xmas gift! What a shame.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Maybe, maybe not...they're two totally different model clocks. The one with the incorrect black needle cover is the older mechanical version, while the one you showed is the electronic version of later Dino's (I'm guessing all E-series). Matthias will easily clarify.
The later E series electronic clocks also had the orange second hand Ron. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It seems that in all these clocks the face is closer to the glass and in none of them is visible any green or white ring.
Autoricambi d'Epoca in Ragoli say they have these Veglia Elettronico versions in stock. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Good spot, apologies as I hadn't noticed that. There are some good repair shops around who may be able to change the second hand and the illumination colour of your existing clock. I'm sure there will be one in Italy but if not SpeedyCables in the UK are very good but not always the quickest as they are busy. The exchange rate will work in your favour as well.
