So Lewis didn't have gears showing on his dashboard and then sets the fastest lap before the red flag....every week something's not working and then all of a sudden he comes up with the fastest time after opening his mouth.....

Because it's all bull****. If it doesn't work, he's got an excuse, and if it does (but too small a gap to Rosberg), he can claim it was because his car was broken but still looking a hero to his fans. It's a win win situation.

Watch when he can't get passed Rosberg during a race. He claims something is breaking, not feeling right, or something is in his eye...

Volume control on the stereo, no doubt!

Anyway, Ferrari continue to lag by about one full tire compound, eh?

Too true lol ! Seriously it's become his new modus operandi.

Anyone reading the BBC Practice live updates see this :

Sebastian Vettel has been put in something of an impossible position by Ferrari team boss Maurizio Arrivabene following the Italian’s controversial remarks at the Japanese Grand Prix that his number one driver should concentrate on driving rather than getting distracted by other matters and needed to “earn” a new contract.

It has emerged that Arrivabene has imparted this message to Vettel directly, too, saying it is not the four-time world champion’s position to defend the team. But what is Vettel to do? He is the effective spokesman for Ferrari for much of a grand prix weekend and he can hardly ignore questions about their lack of results this year. A case in point emerged in Mexico, when he was asked whether he agreed the season had been “a shambles”?

Vettel launched a long and considered defence of how and why he felt things were changing at Ferrari and they were in a position to improve. In the middle of it, though, was a telling phrase. “I agree on the fact we didn’t get the results,” he said. “I can’t excuse that but there is a lot of work going on at the factory - not exactly my job; I am here to drive the car which I am happy to do - but seeing the understanding people are working a lot more hand in hand closer together which is a way to go forward, the level has been pretty high the day I joined but we are trying to raise the bar and work as a team and work together on the car as one project.”

To those in the know, the difficulty of his situation was clear.

So basically no one can ask any questions re their performance.....

He wont last much longer in that environment if true. I dont hear much about Arriva going anywhere. Even Horner said on SKY today things are different for Vettel at Ferrari than Red Bull. MS era is over. Vettel will either accept that and adapt or leave. Where can he go?

Nico becomes WDC, Ham says, "F it, I'm gonna be a rapper/movie star." Nico elated at being Mercedes #1. Seb then joins Mercedes. Nico is gutted. lol

You know the funniest thing, IF vettel actually beats Elton to pole, and puts the mercs in 2nd and 3rd in the race, he will actually help Nico to the title..... awesome. Now, how likely it is that ferrari get anywhere near pole or even the second row, I'm not too sure, but it would be funny if for this race at least, Elton actually got beat into 2nd or even 3rd place, and lost further ground!
