Not so sure.....expect something similar to the Lusso setup.

Are you still purchasing a Tdf ? or did you get the F12M instead ?

If the exterior design is supposed to be a bit more radical - maybe the interior design is also. It might look a little odd with a Lusso interior on a more sporty version of the F12. Will certainly be interesting to see what comes out and all the guesses on the way there.

Tdf allocation never materialised......so will have to make do with the F12M for now :D

    Good find.

Again, some sort of buttress behind the rear window and then almost a vent or something behind. Pretty sure this window has been shortened or changed to work in with this detail. Scoop ahead of rear wheels more obvious here as well. As I have said, never seen so much camo on a mid life so we can certainly expect something radically different, albeit still an F12.

I agree, I do see more of a recessed rear window than the F12 where the roof runs into the rear window. If we were expecting an Aperta, then that would place another interpretation on it..... it would also explain why the roof itself is covered......

I've noticed a lot of the mules are seen with a lowered chassis. Almost like they test the Speciale package first and but release the milder version initially. I think the base car here is the tdf.

Is it just the camo or does the car look like it has a wider rear track than the F12?

    Love your work Milanno, thanks!

Maybe it's the stealth version of the F12 - Ferrari wants its drivers to be able to go fast so now they're going with radar/laser absorbing material. What colour would you like?!

Aside from the look are there any more updates on power - views seem to either be 800HP or somewhere between the outgoing F12 and the TDF?

As we learned in the standing mile video, F12 is ultra slow and not competitive, even hard to match McL with 570hp. So F12M will be 800hp / 810PS.

Power is always welcome, but I would like to see some weight savings on future GT models.

Absolutely! Weight savings would be nice. I'm reasonably confident the F12 weighs in around 4,000lbs. But I wouldn't call it slow! Every time I drive it I just laugh with how incredible a car it is.

Regretfully I think a lightweight GT is an oxymoron.

    Lightweight is all relative.

But it is not very obvious where you could shed relevant weight and still keep the GT luxury and comfort.

Cut 4" in length, a lighter battery, lighter exhaust and thats it. Next level would be Carbon Fieber instead of aluminium. :(

Why are the McL so much lighter? Is it only the CF tub?

yup and it's not a GT car. The motor is lighter too both in weight and soul.

If you have in thought cutting luxury items, than I agree with you, that is not good direction when it comes to cutting weight in high performance luxury GT cars.

    This!

I was informed yesterday by my dealer in Europe that the new F12 will be called the F12 Modificato or F12M. It will not be a completly a new model but a mid life modification similar to FF to GTC. The Engine was confirmed as NA (he had a red face so I am not sure if this was the truth) the car will have a double light similar to the Lusso but the diameter of the lights are bigger and more aggressive. The front is very similar with some minor changes to the front. He indicated that the interior will be very similar to the Lusso but the central screen will be even bigger along with a passanger colored screen. It looks like he had more info but was not willing to share.

It is well known it is not a new model, but also very unlikely it will be called F12M. After FF becoming Lusso, this mid life is going to be much more aggressive and very different as the mule images suggest and thus, as more than just a mid life, the logic is another historic name will be resurrected, Daytona sounding appropriate. It is N/A.

Whilst I do not have any information about the interior, it would surprise me if it followed the Lusso.

I would put money (not a lot) on it being called a 365 GTB.
As Daytona was never an official name not so sure on that part but World Finals are at Daytona in early December when car could be revealed !!!!
