I'm sure its effective, but I cannot live with this look (1st image), I am looking for a lamps that mimic the traditional lens-pattern (2nd image) yet produce a better output. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
With a xenon kit the existing bulbs are replaced with the Xenon units, retaining the exterior appearance. There are almost certainly kits suitable for the Countach. There is some info here HID Kits - Information The 5000k light is the whitest...
I agree. Not the look for me either. LED's are a strange thing. There is a thread on the Maserati Life forum that is hundreds of posts long dealing with replacing the rear tail lamps of the earlier Quattroporte (2005-2007) with the LED units of the new versions. Its not as simple as plug-and-play! There are little electric brain boxes with them and after plugging those in, the warning light on the dash for a burned out bulb comes on. So, someone had to figure out a way to over-ride that. And on & on it goes..... Seemed like a lot of work for nothing in my book. I like the looks of my OEM units. Too big a hassle and expense to do on my Quattroporte. The one big advantage of going to LED on our Countach's is the lower amps needed! I don't know about everyone else, but if I turn on the A/C, turn on the headlights, have all 4 cooling fans running and hit the brakes, my volt gauge will dip into the red zone at idle. Mike
I found these poking around tonight.... $320 for a set of 4. Might be worth a try..... Who wants to be the Guinea pig? 5-3/4''' Maxtel LED Headlights Mike

No affiliation. Beautiful color but very optimistic price. I wonder if it is Luci el Bosco as they are not a lot of pictures to better see the hue of the color. http://ww3.autoscout24.it/classified/275269134?asrc=st|as Image Unavailable, Please Login
During my Diablo period,2000-04 ,there was a 88 1/2 DD in this color ,sitting outside at Ultimate motor works in Orlando( I spent some time there, supplied them Exhaust for Diablo and Murcielago) the engine and carbs where sitting under the workbench inside, Terry (parts) told me the owner started a resto, but gave up and the car sat ,waiting for a decision from the owner.
I think this was the place in Long Island, New York. He also had a place in North Bergen, New Jersey. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Congratulations! That is sweet Mike. I recently moved and went the other way, from something similar to three. I bought an extra lift but still not enough. You can never have enough space! My wife is delighted with the house, but for a multi car guy, it's tough. Image Unavailable, Please Login
really ?!?!?! the colour really suits the Countach shape and helps to accentuates the lines etc its classy rather than brash and in your face, to my eyes it looks stunning
Good for you. To me,it just dont do it. Also i do not think the Countach need much help in the accentuate departement. All good. My car is red. But love Tahiti blue.
