Wheels look great but are far too big. The aspect ratio...tire height looks silly. Clearly the car is not track ready with those super low profile tires, imo.
I can't comment on the paint as I don't know the deal (and I don't like Auteil on a modern car) but gloss black or aluminium calipers would have been far more appropriate, and presumably would have made little difference to the cost. The 488 will still look very smart.
Totally agree. At some point, form stops following function; 21 or 22" wheels on any vehicle smaller than a Cadillac Escalade is that point.
Wheels are indeed too big. However, the white and black livery really gives the TDF a classy look. Very nice indeed.
Gloss Black. Haha about my GTO.......you must have a file of information lol. Aluminium's not too bad Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ahahaha I swear I have no file ... I have a great memory for that kind of thing, but I am unable to remember very important thing like my Mastercard Pin Code or the hour My mom told me to visit her. BTW you GTO looks awesome. Never hesitate to post some more pics.

I really love the GTO in Ferro. And if I remember correctly, the roof is Silverstone? It almost looks the same color in pictures. You must enjoy the subtle difference in real life, knowing it makes your car that much more special and still classy. Thats a really beautiful car. I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Thank you! Yep, Silverstone roof. She is very special. The picture is at my local garden centre, any opportunity for a blast . She has a big presence. Anyway, I really can't wait to drive her and the TDF back to back.
Maybe I am too conservative, but 599 GTO (visually) is so much above toyish F12 TdF design. Pininfarina rules!
Just to reiterate, this was a render done to show off the wheel style to a customer. The P101's can be optioned in the more traditional 20"//21" setup.
I can't wait to read your back to back thoughts. I am envious! (the good kind where I am happy for you and wish I could be there) As to the design vs the TDF, I guess we all have our opinions though Milanno it seems you are very well acquainted with design so I give some extra weight to your opinion. I think they are both great looking cars. But to my eyes, at least right now, I think the TDF is more exciting and in a way more special because it differs more in a positive way from the berlinetta than the GTO from the GTB. However, I think all these cars are really pretty and I do miss seeing the beautiful 599 from my garage.
That car is simply marvellous. Since i watched mainly tdf pictures lately, I forgot how great the GTO is, especially in my Fetish color, Grey. The 599 GTO is definitely the king of front engined V12 Ferraris.
It's wonderful, but I don't think you can be that assuredly definitive. Given the wide choice of front engined V12's I think there is quite a list starting with the real GTO, SWB, Daytona Spyder, Lusso, 275, let alone tdf!
Thanks. I will try and give an interesting objective perspective, my problem I get far too emotional about my cars. So it might end up being a stream of gushing rubbish.
