Going through my old photos I found this one of the LM 002 which was taken during my visit to the 1986 Brussels Auto Salon. This one, I noticed, has a different hood than other LM 002s. Image Unavailable, Please Login
found this disturbing use of a lambo LM .....pics are pretty self explanitory ....i'm guessing the last pic is after the disposal unit was finished disarming it Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
the intended for paris-dakar rally LM, driven by Sandro Munari (i remember reading a R&T article on it), pumped up to 600hp and some major suspension mods Image Unavailable, Please Login
I own this LM now, was John's. It is getting the "correct" restoration now..will be done soon..makes 5 of these LM trucks I have now. This one is a bit rare as it is an Intrim Lm 002 AMerica truck, about 8 of those made.
LM002 LLA12214 sold for 166.750 euro at The Zoute Sale, reported as a record price for an LM002. The car is in as new condition. Bonhams Auctioneers : 1,266 kilometres from new,1991 Lamborghini LM 002 4x4 Chassis no. ZA9LU45A3LLA12214
possibly the best example in the world :O still a very good amount for an LM002 i have to say given the rarity and the nature of the beast it was only a question of time before they follow countach price trend
Is there a ppg paint sticker on the LM002 (similar to the ones on the 25th and Diablo). If yes, where is it sticked?
Yes Emilio, hopefully But looking at the build quality of this truck, I'm not sure I want a 23 year old garage queen. Seriously. I'd rather have a weekend driven car. Less money too. Eu 166,750 + 15% Bonhams fee right? That is Eu 191,760
i think the price is included fees ...i could be wrong yes, this is a car for a museum-collector that does not drive cars
I just found this picture of a LM002 chassis. It comes from Urbar, a spanish firm that apparently performed vibration tests for Irizar, who Lamborghini subcontracted the coachwork and the interior. URBAR Ingenieros S.A. - Engineering company specialised in the vibration field. I thought that Irizar only produced the coachwork and the interior, but maybe were they more involved with the development of the chassis itself. Image Unavailable, Please Login

one thing i do not think it was ever discussed here is the LM 002 Original Alpine stereo the 7235 Alpine cassette had reinforced mechanicals and double cassette doors, probably to preserve the internals from dirt and sand! (unique Alpine cassette built like this) this stereo was the "heavy duty" model from Alpine and purposefully the "RAMBO Alpine " model intended for the "Rambo Lambo" off road i wonder how many LM still has this stereo today Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Daily drove it this week, aircon is good. No complains love how it drives, wish it was faster but it's heavy.
Excellent pictures. Yes it is heavy and feels heavy Accelerating from zero, once rolling it is ok. Surprisingly it handles corners very well despite 3300kg. I did a track test once
Both LM's together (Red is coming off a full nut and bolt resto. I'll make a thread soon). Image Unavailable, Please Login
It would be great if I could get VIN's and production dates and other particulars. The red one. Did it come out of the East Bay? When I lived in Alamo there was one in the Danville area for a short time and then disappeared.
