    When he visited me in 2015 he ran directly to my 25th Anniversary 12481 and was very excited talking history about it, later on he went and bought a pearl white for himself.

    Dunno. Spoke to Horacio at The McCall Event at Monterey a few years ago. Showed him a picture of my DD parked next to Michael Fux's purple RR pointing out the the sheer size difference as the CT was dwarfed by the giant purple drop top. He didn't have much of a reaction.

    He obviously thought the Rolls was yours, and was stunned into silence, thinking how could a car connoisseur with taste impeccable enough to own a Downdraft, also own that purple thing? He was just speechless :D

    Via the Bay of E, I've just purchased original owners and service manuals for the Alpine 7273 Radio. Which I must get around to putting into my car at some stage.

    Since you have already taken us off-topic with the Rolls, allow me to indulge with a Rolls of impeccable taste that Signor Horacio Pagani would undoubtedly have been impressed with (also owned by a Downdraft owner).

    How about a version of Lamborghini old-school Rame Colorado Metallizzato with Bianco interior?

    There is something kinda cool,not too perfect shop set up,with these So Cal resto projects,clean and organised,but not silly and sterile (think new NASCAR unlimited budget shop) love the old painted work bench with the tires stashed underneath,next to a stripped Countach, which was hammered together 30 years ago on the other side of the globe,effing cool. Keep it going, love it

    That's the disassembly area, so there are components everywhere.

    By the time the car comes back from the body shop, many of the components will have been refurbished/rebuilt/refinished/restored by then, and at that point they are neatly on racks in an area like where mine is being finished that is very organized.

    There is an orderly sequence to the whole thing, and I think it helps with the end result.
