    Yeah, that movie reignited my appreciation for the GT4, which I have loved since I saw my first one thirty years ago. As a result, I just bought a red/tan 1975 GT4 yesterday. Delivery expected next week. I have caught the bug bad!

    There is an episode of NCIS:LA (from like a year ago) that had a 328 and a slew of exotics in it.

    Also an episode of Magnum PI called summer school has an additional green 308 featured almost as much as Magnum's.

    We've talked about that before around here a few times.

    The odd thing is it wasn't one green 308, they used two different ones. Either they painted two different cars or they sourced two green 308's. Must have been difficult to do that even then.

    Again just when I thought I had seen every show which has featured a 3x8 a new one pops up. Last night I'm sort of watching the old show Hunter (yeah I know what can I say) it opens with the female love interest driving a red on tan 328. Only one scene with the car had what actually sounded like a 328. Thinking back I never did watch Hunter back in the day which is why I had never seen or knew about this episode.

    The second green 308 was actually the "stunt car" with the VW underpinings... the same one that was (or still is?) on display at Universal Studios. Apparently, they color-matched it to the green 308 for that episode. There are a couple of shots when the car enters the "cul-de-sac" were you can actually spot the details of the stunt car... look again. The seats are a big giveaway ;-)

    Here's one that if you blink, you miss it.
    Second episode of second season of Miami Vice titled Whatever Works.
    Tubbs is cruising in his Caddy at night and as he looks in the mirror a white 308 can clearly (very briefly) be seen crossing an intersection behind him.

    Steve Winwood video "Freedom Overspill"

    He drives a black Euro-spec 308 GTS QV. I guess he comes across a (rather sexy) woman who drives a red GTB.

    In one scene, which is repeated over and over again, in black and white and color, the two 308s cross.

    The video is from the 1980s. But it stuck in my mind all those years ... a testament to the mystique of the 308 in those days.
