Broken undertray

Most of the time, these can be repaired with fiberglass and epoxy.

What type of Ferrari do you have? What year, what assembly number, what version (spider, GTS, GTB, Challenge, etc)? Assuming a Ferrari F355, could you clarify which panel you are referring to using one of these Ricambi diagrams?

Its just fiberglass and can be repaired.

This is an easy repair. I just had a part of mine repaired that was broken by the flat top guy.
In the same area as you are talking about.

Looks perfect and they actually put a thin layer of CF over it as well.

 

On this topic, a couple of my underpanels could use some love. But its not simply a fiberglass cloth-over-hole patch. I'll need to make a foam mold to assist. rather than ship through the internet, anybody know of a local source? Most body shops in my area are now into just swapping panels & don't to fiberglass anymore.

Look for places that do hull repair on small sailboats instead of automotive shops...

 

Mine are destroyed. I have 2 sets I swap out as needed if they are flopping in the breeze. One set is always in repair mode.

My bumpers are also like snow plows

I have used plaster to make molds and also using this stuff called Mold star from https://www.smooth-on.com/products/mold-star-30/.

That stuff im usiig to repair my 355 dash parts that have been broken.

Mold it from a good one and then repair the broken one with the mold.

I also.use a mixing system for my fiberglass repair that takes all the guess work out of that. Ill have to dig up.their name.

 

I think Sy may still have a spare 355 under tray?

Most any body shop should be able to work in fiberglass.....

I repaired my under panels ..... & when repairing panels that had missing sections ....made cardboard covered in aluminum tape templates to get the necessary proportions. Added a finish gelcoat as well (no body filler at all).
Came out perfect and you could not tell they had been repaired.
