    I left my manual in the trunk of the California and forgot to put it at the battery charger. Now the battery is almost empty and I cannot open the trunk with the key. Can one of You explain me how to open the trunk otherwise, I'm sure there is a other way to open the trunk in case the key does not work. As it is Sunday today I cannot ask at the dealer but I don't want to wait until tomorrow as the battery may be totally empty.

    Use the key ... slot is on the underside of the lid to the right of the license plate : )

    Thank's a lot. Just opened the trunk. Now I have to see if the regular charger is enough to fill up the battery again.

    Just discovered this key hole a few days ago while cleaning the Cali. Here's a pic.

    BTW, Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale has PDF copy of the manual online. I downloaded copy to my iPhone. On a couple of occasions it's been very useful to have and be able to search - like when I left the tender plugged in to the receptacle & got a TFT warning I was not familiar with.
